The 1999-2002 models had a smaller less powerful engine (210hp) and a 4 speed auto transmission; transmission that was recalled and was known to have issues. Revised on 2003 this one comes with the now standard 3.5 V6 (240hp) and the bullet proof 5 speed automatic.
