The Mercedes C240 is an excellently crafted vehicle. It runs well and is quite enjoyable to drive. It is very safe; and its various exterior and interior stylistic revisions for 2005 have turned it into a handsome piece of work. This C-Class has a quite powerful engine 2.6L V6, 18 valves and 168 hp and a 5 speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is not bad at all for a 6 cylinder vehicle: 19 mpg city / 25 mpg hwy. Very safe car with airbags all around and plenty of other safety features that give this car a 5 star safety rating. The 5-speed automatic with Touch Shift is amazingly competent, with little compromise between the convenience of an automatic and the quickness of manual shift.
