Toyota's Camry Hybrid uses a 45 horsepower electric motor mated to a 147 hp 2.4-liter DOHC four-cylinder gasoline engine, resulting in a net 192 horsepower. This combination, along with other power-saving features, allows the Camry Hybrid to deliver EPA estimates of 40 mpg city and 37 mpg highway.
